This year marks the 79th year of The Cannes Film Festival.

It takes place the 13th – 23d of May, and there is lots of rumored films due to compete this year.

Although the official line up has not been revealed yet, lots of potential directors including Stephen Spielberg, David Fincher, Alejandro G. Inarritue, and Ruben Ostlund are among the favorites to attend and showcase their films.
