Americas Next Top Model was one of the most controversial, watched modelling shows in the world, and now, Netflix is reopening the America’s Next Top Model vault.
The show that gave us go-sees, TyraMail delusions, and reality TV chaos we’re still unpacking.
Since ANTM left the runway, the internet has been on a nonstop rewatch spiral: YouTube is stacked with brutal judge-quote compilations and deep dives exposing just how wild things allegedly got behind the scenes. Former contestant Sarah Hartshorne’s tell-all, You Wanna Be On Top?, only added fuel to the fire.

But without the show’s top decision-makers speaking publicly, most of the tea has lived in rumor land—and yes, we’re still waiting for our TyraMail.
Netflix is finally putting the faces of the franchise front and center. A new documentary brings Tyra Banks back into the spotlight, joined by Miss J. Alexander and Jay Manuel promising fresh receipts, long-overdue context, and maybe—just maybe—some accountability.
From the jump, it looks like the series won’t shy away from the mess—digging into the show’s most controversial chapters, from eating disorders and extreme makeover moments to assault allegations and those deeply uncomfortable racial storylines. And yes, it’s also set to unpack the behind-the-scenes tension and infighting between Jay, J., and Tyra.
The Three part docuseries “Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model” will premiere on Netflix , Feb 16th.
