Danny Dyer will attend premiere for One Last Deal in Dublin.

A big update for Film fans in Ireland this week from this year’s Dublin International Film Festival.

Danny Dyer is officially pulling up to One Last Deal on February 28. Yes, it’s happening!!

Dyer joins a seriously stacked guest lineup, with Maisie Williams also confirmed to attend for 500 Miles. DIFF is not playing around this year.

The Volta Award is going to a true icon of style.

Legendary costume designer Ellen Mirojnick is being honored with the Volta Award, one of the festival’s biggest accolades. Named after Ireland’s first dedicated cinema (founded by James Joyce, casually), the award celebrates major contributions to film culture.

Mirojnick is basically behind some of the most unforgettable looks in film and TV. Think bold visuals, obsessive detail, and pure character magic. She’s received an Oscar nomination for Oppenheimer and has worked across iconic titles including Bridgerton, Wall Street, and Fatal Attraction.

Speaking about the award, Mirojnick said:
“It is a profound honor to receive the Volta Award… Costume design has always been my way into character — exploring psychology, history, identity, and transformation.”
Honestly? Deserved.

Ellen will also join the DIFF Film Club for a live conversation at Haymarket House on February 28th , giving audiences a rare peek behind the creative curtain.
