If you’re into stripped-back, proper listen-to-every-word kind of music, this is one to keep an eye on. The Milk Carton Kids are heading back to Dublin for a headline show at the 3Olympia Theatre on January 19th, 2027.
The duo—Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan—have built their whole sound around keeping things simple: two guitars, two voices, no overproduction. It’s quiet, but in a way that completely pulls you in. They’ve been doing it since their debut Prologue in 2011, and over the years they’ve picked up a seriously loyal following (plus a few Grammy nominations along the way).
They’ve just released their new album Lost Cause Lover Fool, and it leans into that same honest, reflective style they’re known for—nothing flashy, just really well-written songs that stick with you.
