Ireland’s favourite family festival is entering a new chapter, with Kaleidoscope Festival announcing a brand-new home at Glendalough Estate, Co. Wicklow, for its biggest programme yet.
The festival will take place from Friday 2 July to Sunday 4 July 2027, moving from Russborough House after six memorable years.
The new Glendalough setting will give Kaleidoscope more space to expand its programme, with a bigger focus on nature, outdoor adventure, music, wellness and family experiences, while continuing the comfort-focused facilities families have come to expect.

The move will also create more space for families to camp together, with expanded areas for tents, campervans and caravans, as well as a new family-friendly sit-down restaurant.
Kaleidoscope says the 2027 festival will feature headline and homegrown music, hundreds of all-ages activities, sports, outdoor adventure, arts and science, nature and wellness, food and drink, hikes, foraging, bushcraft and nature trails.
Family comfort will remain a major focus, with flushing toilets, kid-friendly low sinks, dedicated nappy-changing hubs, camp kitchens and upgraded camping facilities.

The festival has also announced its biggest-ever Loyalty Scheme, giving returning festival-goers exclusive early access and pricing ahead of general sale.
Registration for the 2027 Loyalty Scheme opens on Thursday 16 September, with loyalty tickets going on sale from Wednesday 23 September until Sunday 1 November, or until sold out.
Loyalty ticket prices are:
Weekend Adult: €88, including fees
Weekend Kid: €67, including fees
Family of Four Weekend Ticket: €286, including fees, for two adults and two children
A five-stage instalment plan will also be available, with one payment in 2026 followed by four monthly payments from February to May 2027. Payments start from €17.60 for adults and €13.40 for children.
The festival says the move to Glendalough will allow it to create more opportunities for families to spend time together, while offering greater flexibility, comfort and outdoor experiences.
Other 2027 highlights include expanded camping and caravan facilities, quiet campsite zones, accessible camping, trolley and concierge support, free OAP tickets and free entry for under-2s.
Kaleidoscope’s first music announcement for 2027 is expected in November, alongside the first teasers for the festival’s adventure and all-ages programme.
Kaleidoscope Festival 2027 takes place from Friday 2 July to Sunday 4 July at Glendalough Estate, Co. Wicklow.
Registration and tickets are available through kaleidoscopefestival.ie and Ticketmaster.
